Huskers End Season with 8-7 Loss to ASU
As Joes said in a post game conference after Nebraska's second loss in the College World Series, "It was a good game played on both sides...It just didn't go our way." But, talk to any Husker fan who was at the game and no one will deny the fact that it was an amazing game. our Huskers did what they've been doing all season long, they played their game. Unfortunately, Jeff Larish and a couple other Sun Devils wanted to stop nebraska's postseason run by trumping them 8-7 in 11 innings to send the Huskers packing their bags.
Now, however unfortunate the ending of this season maybe be...we have to realize that this team went where no other had before; they won a game in the CWS. It may not look like much now, but give it some time and this season will be one to go down in history. As for the teams still competing in the CWS...I'll be cheering for any team that's not Texas.
A word to the seniors (and Juniors) leaving the Husker squad, best of luck to you all. And don't foget to visit.
