COASTER LISA'S COASTERS OF THE NORTHWEST -- http://www.rollercoastersofthepacificnw.com

The great Phoenix at Knoebels Amusement Park in Elysburg, PA.  If you like a classic wooden coaster, with lots of air-time, this is the one for you.  Phoenix was originally called "The Rocket" and was moved to Knoebels in 1985 from San Antonio, Texas' defunct Playland Park.
This is the original entrance to Knoebels Amusement Park.  At night, the neon sign lights up and beckons you back to the "good old days" when amusement parks had free parking, pay-one-price or ride tickets.  Guess what?  Knoebels still features all those things and two world-class wooden coasters, an old split double corkscrew steel coaster (one of only 5 left in the world) and a very rare Overland steel Jr. coaster that is like riding a bucking bronco!
