Welcome to Michael Lynn's Homepage Yahoo! Avatars

Well here are the minimal facts; I was born in South Texas and currently reside in North Texas. As far as work goes I worked in the area of technical support and Network Management for Eicon/Dialogic until May 2002; before that I worked for Motorola as a Unix Network admin. I am A+, Network+, and I-Net+ certified; for more info on Comptia just click on the link.
Now the fun stuff, after all this is a PERSONAL web page. Outside of work I ran The ◊ ßard's Tavern BBS ◊ from 1987 until November of 2002 and may be one of a dwindling number of amiga users you will find in this area. I currently work for the University of North Texas doing computer technical and network support.

    INTERESTS

In addition to the obvious (computers), I am a major Babylon 5, Wing Commander, Space Above and Beyond fan as well as a general science fiction, history, solar energy, and computer gaming fan. I also played the MMORPG Shadowbane currently I play EverQuest 2. My favorite band is the Canadian trio Rush and I enjoy cooking. Originally the biggest reason for the bbs was I had a great love for sharing some of the great, computer generated music that is freely available and to share files for platforms that are not well supported or for companies that are out of business.

For More info on this aspect of computing link into Mikester's Computer Music Info Page. (To be updated in mid 2008)

Restored now, Mikester's computer gaming page.
