We would like to encourage others in the same way. To that end, we are opening our home for support group meetings and/or activities on the (south)east side of Houston. To our knowledge, there are no active support groups in our area.
We don't consider oursevles true homeschooling veterans or even that knowledgeable, but we would like to offer our help wherever it might be needed.
We have given our group the name "CHERISH" - Christian Home Educators Residing in Southeast Houston. However, we really think of this name as standing for "Christian Homeschool Encouragement Really IS Helpful".
