NOTE: This applet tries to automatically compensate for your time zone and daylight savings time, so you can use local time as input. However, some browsers doesn't handle this very well due to bugs in their Java VM.

If you notice that the time displayed in the applet at startup isn't your local time (or any other peculiar behavior) I suggest that you use the manual adjustment of time zone offset.

To do this, give your time zone offset in minutes (positive values east of Greenwich) in the offset input field and mark the "Use time zone offset" choice. You should then see a message in the status area informing you on how many minutes the applet is using as offset and the input field should be disabled.

To use automatic adjustment again or change the manual offset value, just unmark the "use time zone offset" choice again.
