Born in Nicaragua I have learned to appreciate the beauty of the arts and literature from a family of highly intellectual members. From Impressionist Masters to the Prince of Castellan Letters: Poet Ruben Dario, I've enjoyed the journey. Precisely because I love the art of thinking, I also write. My work: Here |

The work Jezli Pacheco creates has much of the experimental mixed with traditional imagery. From graphite, oil pastels, to her ceramic sculpture, and photography all of it has soft lines, gestural movement and very feminine content. Romantic, sensual, naive, spiritual, and so much more it translates well into a body of work that is dedicated to emotion. It is the main subject in all the work presented. She has translated experiences, thoughts, and ideas into a creative body that explores feeling or sensation. From her "Mother and Child" series, to the humanoid landscapes that emerge, she explores fear, love, regret, happiness, exploration itself. There's always something behind every image or sculpture. |
My quote of the month. For every great thinker/creator that lacks the ambition to claim her/his theory/invention there is always someone willing to do it for them. Jezli Pacheco |
