Jewish healing is currently entering a new phase which goes beyond the prevalent standard of bikkur cholim (visiting the sick), supporting families facing medical crises, and comforting mourners. As more and more professional health care workers are finding their way into Jewish healing, they recognize that the present standards are just not sufficient to enable true and lasting healing. Therapists of every kind believe that a more clinical approach is needed to deal with the everyday, chronic problems, in addition to the life threatening illnesses, from which many of us suffer. In addition, we need a health system which includes spirituality in order to bring wholeness into our lives.
The Jewish Healing Institute is proud to offer, for the very first time, an on-line, home study Jewish healing education program. This is ideal for nurses, physicians, body therapists, counselors, psychotherapists, and other health professionals who wish to add Jewish healing to their practice. We invite all individuals who desire an in-depth understanding of Jewish healing, and its practice using holistic, energy based concepts. This program is also geared towards providing additional tools and support to those who lead Jewish healing services.
The Jewish Healing Institute awards a certificate of completion in Jewish healing which incorporates a variety of basic to advanced healing modalities. The program is sequenced in 12 units allowing participants to move from beginner to qualified practitioner which can be completed in one year. The program can be started at any time.
Upon completion of the program, the Jewish Healing Institute will promote your professional status with the synagogues and Jewish agencies in your area, and support you in marketing your healing services.
