| BSU Spring Break 2002 ~ Touching Miami with Love |

| On March 1, 2002 at about 3:00pm, eleven BSUers at Bridgewater College set out on an incredible journey. What was supposed to be about a 20 hour trip ended up taking us 31!! But, we didn't let a couple of blown tires and exhaustion/frustration get in the way of our ultimate goal........ to make it to Miami and have the opportunity to reach out to those less fortunate. We had the opportunity to minister to the homeless, inner city kids, and people at the AIDS Hospice. Any obstacles we had to face on the trip down were well worth it after the week we had. It was incredible!!! I hope that this website will help you see how we left as 11 individuals and came back as one united group who knew a whole lot more about each other than we did when we left ;-) What an amazing faith building experience!! |
