Welcome to my little corner of the web.
For those of you who don't know me, I'm Jenny. I was born and
raised in northeastern Connecticut, grew up in the same house my dad
and his brothers grew up in. In March 2005 I packed up and moved halfway
across the country to Arkansas, about an hour north east of Little Rock.
Why? Well, to be with the love of my life. It was far easier for me to
pack up myself, then for him to pack up him and his son. Plus, they're
southern boys, they'd never have survived the first winter in Connecticut.
Me? Well I barely survived the first summer in Arkansas. The heat nearly
did me in, but I managed. As for the winter, all I could say all 'winter'
was "What winter?" The first snowfall didn't even last long enough for
me to take pictures (and they canceled school over it!) Second winter storm
wasn't snowy, just icy. And that was it. It only got what *I* considered
cold twice and I wore my thick heavy 'nanook' coat once. I've adjusted to
the climate change though. In fact, when I went back to visit my family in
April of 2006, I actually felt cold though they were saying it was warm.
I've traded in my 'nanook' coat for one that's not so bulky and warm, but
still warm enough for me, and I consider it chilly at 50, instead of shorts
and tank top weather.
I like to take pictures ... I always have. I take TONS of them. Not
all of them are great pictures, but I'm getting better at it. I set this
website up as a photo gallery for the stuff I've taken. Some might seem
silly, but they're not silly to me. This is a continuous work in progress,
so more stuff will be added as I get them cropped and resized and put up
onto pages. But for now:
A Clematis Story
I'll be adding more stuff shortly. But for now, enjoy
