Kitchen
		These are a few pictures of my kitchen.
		Before: This is what it looked like when we bought the house (minus the clutter of course!) Yes, that is contact paper on the walls. Yes, that is an old laminate countertop that's been painted white.			This side of the counter top has been in a few months longer than the other side. It gets heavy use because it's beside the cooktop.
					This is how we did the edges of the countertop. We beat them with rubber mallets. It actually wasn't too hard. Then we screwed up through the countertop and into the base. Yeah, I beat this corner into it with a rubber mallet and a little help from pliers and a hammer. After we had finished, I learned that there were white rubber mallets that wouldn't have left marks on the cabinets. Oh well, they needed to be painted anyway.
		Here is the biggest stretch of countertop that we have. No, it's not the picture, it's really as small as you think it is.
