Lewis was
born on 26th August 1979. He possesses an
unusual combination of authority and rapidity. To
deliver his best as a professional, he maintains he
remains composed and balanced. Lewis became the fifth
overall pick of the 2000 draft of Ravens in spite of
missing his sophomore season with an injured right knee
at the University of Tennessee. Merely as a beginner,
Lewis assisted his team to win the Super Bowl. He
started 14 regular-season games and rushed for 1,364
yards and six touchdowns. He missed all of the 2001
season games because of the torn Anterior Cruciate
Ligament (ACL). But like a true sportsman, he bounced
back from his injury and rushed for 1,327 yards on 308
carries, catching 42 balls for 442 yards, and scoring
seven TDs. |
