ryan has left for canada last september 28 :(
rehearsals for the cantata started two weeks ago, september 24. on the october 1 practice, ate mikay made a special dinner for the month's birthday celebrants (including herself). and the music team pigged out!
kuya butch is the cantata director. the songs are: time's scar, God of wonders, speechless, hymns medley and i can only imagine. we've practiced the first two songs..three more and two months to go!
we have two new members, ricky and lisa. welcome to the team! we'll be working with a lot of new people too for the cantata-the diliman bible church (DBC) orchestra, among others. there will also be lots, tons, plenty of back-up singers (for a choir effect). hi joan and abby!

Instrument Upkeep :)
August 2005
we're still using the same instruments we've played for the past
(five?) years..the RJ bass, the Roland keyboards and the Yamaha
acoustic guitar are still serving DCBC, despite many repairs.
the rest of the instruments-the violin, the banduria, the triangle
are still around, not quite used. the other keyboards is
now with the tagalog service music team.
and YES! we DO get new stuff every once in a while.
Sunset Service will finally be having a kahon in two weeks!
