TOURNAMENT RULES

Rules

All entries must be in by Thursday March 15th at 11:00AM CST. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

All entry fees can be paid in one of three ways:
1) Submitted via by March 15th 11:00 CST ($.50 additional charge applies)
2) Cash or Check hand delivered to me by March 15th 11:00 CST
3) Check made payable to Scott Rein and mailed (must be postmarked by March 14th) to me at:
823 Marlin St.
Bayou Vista, TX 77563

ANY ENTRY WHO'S PAYMENT IS LATE OR MISSING WILL BE THROWN OUT, NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!

Scoring Example

Standard Scoring – You get points by correctly picking a team to win a certain game. Points are awarded for correctly picking the winner in each round. For each correct pick you get points based on which round you had the pick. Points are for each round as follows:
1st - 2 point
2nd - 4 points
3rd - 8 points
4th - 16 points
5th - 32 points
6th - 64 points

Example: Joe picks Nebraska (#6 seed) over Minnesota (#2 seed) wins a 2nd Round game.
With Standard Scoring, if Nebraska wins this game Joe would be awarded the number of points assigned to a correct pick for that round. In this case Joe would be awarded 4 points for correctly picking this game. If Nebraska loses this game or does not make it to this game, Joe gets no points.

Seed Scoring – To get points for Seed Scoring a player must correctly pick a team to win a certain game. Points are then awarded based on the seed number of the winning team multiplied by the round number.

Example: Joe picks Nebraska (#6 seed) over Minnesota (#2 seed) wins a 2nd Round game.
If Nebraska wins this game Joe would be awarded 12 points for correctly picking a number 6 seed winning a second round game.

Joe's total score for this game will be 16 points, 4 points for the standard scoring 12 points for seed scoring.
