| Dear Parents, We are going on a field trip this Thusday, September 28th. We are going to see the Tiffany Exhibition at the Paine Art Center here in Oshkosh. We will be leaving at 12:15. The cost is $1 for each child. I am asking all 4th Grade parents to send to school 2 bags of pre-shredded cabbage (coleslaw) or 2 heads of cabbage already shredded. We are making Chinese Cabbage Salad for the Progressive Dinner sponsored by the PTL on October 3rd. I would like all the cabbage to come to school on the day before so we know what we have. PTL is buying the seeds and nuts and I am buying the rest of the ingredients. Our salad is to feed 75. Other classes are making different recipes. I hope you are all able to attend. The Book Faire is also that same evening. Parents may purchase or order books that night as well as before and after school on Monday through Wednesday. Mid-quarter grades will be out on October 4th. This is a little glimpse of how the students are doing. This grade isn't for "keeps". They can do better, the same or worse by the end of the quarter. Mostly it makes them do better.
