Just a few pictures of old memories. It is my desire to try and put together a few short stories and pictures of some old friends. Now I don't pretend to be a writer nor a great story teller, but I will do my best. I will just try and write the way I talk. So here goes......... Below is a picture of Bernice Reynolds. She is standing on the walkway that leads into the mine at Dehue, West Virginia. Taken around 1957. My father worked in this mine until 1956 when he was forced to retire due to his health. I have lots of good memories of Dehue and its people. |
