*We are now using our MySpace Account as our MAIN SITE.
That site has the schedule and will be kept updated.

Friends welcome.

All bands booking correspondence: email to airborn@tir.com

Most all our bands have My Space accounts so you can hear
what they sound like by going to SEARCH on My Space and
enter the band's name with no spaces.

Changes in 2006: Jamas has expanded and is producing shows in
larger venues around the area! Check here for updates.
CHECK THE LOCATION OF THE SHOW BEFORE YOU GO.
We have great venues in Davisburg, Fenton, Holly, Burton
and Swartz Creek. Our Acoustic Cafe nights are at Borders Bookstore
in Flint on Miller Road the second Friday of each month, and
sometimes at Borders at Great Lakes Crossing, Auburn Hills.
Honest Truth discussion follows the last band, or happens between bands.
All welcome. Honest Truth is an open forum discussion. All opinions
and beliefs are respected.

Our door charge is $7 to cover staff
for our bigger shows and venues. Refreshments are for sale.
If you would like to work for Jamas let's talk. -ron

We're interested in showing artsy, creative or funny
home movies. Make your epic. We'll show it.

ALSO, Jamas will print a literary magazine of the best poetry,
photography, art work (will be printed in one color), and short stories.
Bring submissions to Jamas at any acoustic or rock night.
The cover charge pays for the rent and expenses of Jamas. It's your place.
Admission includes free coffee, water, pop, juice, and a snack, plus $5 off
a shirt or jacket.

Thanks to all the great bands who give their time to Jamas and to you.
Jamas would like to thank our patrons who pay at the door and
help us pay the rent and keep the dream alive. Jamas is your place.

A thought...
Everything in nature - from the largest expanse of sky
to the tiniest flower, show a love, an intelligence, a
grandeur that reveals the existence of God and invites us to
experience God's love and presence.
To draw up engineering blueprints of what goes on when we
flex our index finger, would be more complicated than the
blueprints for a nuclear battleship. And that ship can not
heal itself when cut. A nuclear battleship can not assemble
or design itself from a scrap heap of metal. Neither can
all this incredible supernatural technology in nature around
and in us create itself by accident from nothing.
When left to random chance, things deteriorate, not assemble
themselves into a giraffe.
We believe in God, and the good news that he has come to us
lived with us, died for us, rose again, lives in us, and wants the
best for us. "Seek and you will find. Knock and the door will
be opened to you." -Jesus

WHEN I SAY, "I AM A CHRISTIAN"
When I say, "I am a Christian" I'm not shouting, "I’ve been saved!"
I'm whispering, "I get lost! That's why I chose this way"
When I say, "I am a Christian" I don't speak with human pride
I'm confessing that I stumble—needing God to be my guide
When I say, "I am a Christian" I'm not trying to be strong
I'm professing that I'm weak and pray for strength to carry on
When I say, "I am a Christian" I'm not bragging of success
I'm admitting that I've failed and cannot ever pay the debt
When I say, "I am a Christian" I don't think I know it all
I submit to my confusion asking humbly to be taught
When I say, "I am a Christian" I'm not claiming to be perfect
My flaws are all too visible but God believes I'm worth it
When I say, "I am a Christian" I still feel the sting of pain
I have my share of heartache, which is why I seek His name
When I say, "I am a Christian" I do not wish to judge
I have no authority...I only know I'm loved

!!Alert!! Please be Advised!
No alcohol or drugs on Jamas premises or in parking lot!
There will be monitoring of all Jamas areas for these.
We are asking the local Police to help us check for these.
Please don't mess up our reputation by doing illegal things.
Please don't mess up your life by doing illegal things.

Jamas tries to promote postive bands, music and values.
Not every link to websites or people through our open doors
share this positive effort. Students and parents should be
aware of offensive and destructive elements that may be present.
Life is short.
We are all either filtering the water or peeing in the pool.
Love one another, do good things, and joy and peace show up.

Dancing, jumping, two-step, are fine. No throwing punches.
If people really have to do this, please go somewhere

playing that have worked so much on their music.
