Intro to Griffith's Valuation

One of the visitors to these Limerick pages had transcribed Griffith's valuation for many townlands in southwest Limerick, the area around Abbeyfeale in particular. Realizing this hard work could be of use to others, my visitor has allowed me to post the results of this labor on the Limerick page.

This is useful in two ways. Someone searching in southwest Limerick may find some useful information in the lists provided here. And this might inspire others to share their lists with others via the internet.

Such transcriptions are extremely useful but, for the highest accuracy, you should check the original documents yourself.
