Research Tip Queen Anne’s County was divided into “hundreds” until 1798 when Election Districts were formed.  The original hundreds were known as Chester, Island, Kent Island Lower, Kent Island Upper, Town, Tuckahoe, Worrell and Wye Hundred.

Prior to the formation of Queen Anne’s County in 1707, county records can be found in Talbot County and records for Kent Island can also be found in Kent County.
