1. disable local APIC by adding the boot parameter "nolapic" so that the display switch (Alt-F5) can work, and the system can be powered off properly.
2. disable glx and GLcore extensions in X so that apm can work properly with X.
3. download omnibook-"current release date".tar.gz from sourceforge.net to enable kernel support and one-touch keys.
