2006 NEWS: Swifty is currently running The Barley Sheaf pub in Liskeard, Cornwall and is still available for some bookings.

This site is dedicated to one of Europe's leading entertainers Swifty. Raised in the home county of Middlesex, a 14 year old Swifty was dragged kicking and screaming to  Liskeard in Cornwall and now splits his time between there and Europe. Swifty has been involved in many adventures over the years. Falling asleep on a ferry and missing his stop once made the UK radio and newspapers, and an incident where Swifty was attacked by a knife wielding Eskimo has been immortalised in song by Danish band The Glam Babes.

Starting his musical career as a drummer at the tender age of fifteen, Swifty has played with bands such as Remix, Two Much, Midnight Shift, Under Pressure, Oregan, and more recently Kevin Freeman & The Road Scholars. Since learning four chords on the guitar, Swifty now does a solo turn of popular classics along with some humorous tales of his travels. His joke book is legendary, as are his patent leather red shoes (that only come out at Christmas).

Also on Swifty's CV is his stint as tour manager/soundman for Cornish comedian Jethro and two appearances in Jethro's top selling videos. He has run the Barley Sheaf Jam in Liskeard, Cornwall since 1982, and achieved a remarkable 8.5 score on Hot Or Not.
