All of those men & women who at the time of this writing, still remain searching for survivors of the destroyed World Trade Center towers & the disaster site at the Pentagon.

Declare 9-11 a national holiday!
How are state & federal holidays started? One way is that the state recognizes a particular event & then holds a vote on it.

Well here is one I think should be instituted. September 11th.

In memory of all who lost there lives on that horrible day.

Every one should take the day off on September 11th & reflect on what it means to them. Think about & ponder all of the ways that the terrorist attacks on September 11th 2001 affected us personally, as a nation & as a global community.

We have holidays that honor dead presidents & great leaders. How about memorializing the over 5000 people who died in New York, Pennsylvania & Washington DC on September 11th 2001 with a national holiday. We can call it Freedom Day or something like that.

So on this September 11th, stay home. Show the surviving families of the 9-11-2001 attack that a nation is with them.
