What can I do to be GREEN?

- Use Compact Fluorescent lightbulbs!
"If every American home replace just one light bulb with an ENERGY STAR qualified bulb, we would save enough energy to light more than 3 million homes for a year, more than $600 million in annual energy costs, and prevent greenhouse gases equivalent to the emmissions of more than 800,000 cars."

-Don't Idle!!! Idling your car for 10 seconds wastes more gas than turning it on and off. This means at places like gas stations, borders, and banks, just turn it off. You can live without the music for a few minutes if it helps the environment!

- As always, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle! Buy a green bag for your shopping, or at least try to carry paper bags with you when you go shopping.  For more information check out

- Carpool to school or work! Use Ride Shares! For more information, go to
