Help D.A.W.G. Help the WRO of New Orleans
Direct Action Welfare Group is raising money to help the Louisiana Welfare Rights Organization rebuild and help low income families in New Orleans rebuild their lives. To make a donation please make checks payable to DAWG and mail them to WRO Fund c/o DAWG PO Box 20079, Charleston, WV 25362. 


D.A.W.G. is looking for County Representatives and Potential Board Member

Volunteers who are willing to distribute the newsletter and other materials in their communities. 
County Representatives will also act as the voice of their community.

Have you heard is a regular article in our newsletters that keeps people informed on programs and services.

Did you know that even if you are not recieveing a welfare (WVWORKS/TANF) check  that you might still be able to recieve child care assistance, foodstamps, and health care.

To find out more about your rights and the programs that are available please visit the online version of the popular manual people recieve at the Making Connections Trainings that have been hosted by DAWG.
