Are you trying to "win" the lost by "friendship," or by the exact nature of Christ, who does NOT change! Do you know we are to "Rebuke those who sin in the presence of ALL , that others also may fear." 1 Tim. 5; 20 How many times do you follow that COMMAND!“
OR "And of some have compassion, making a difference, and others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.” Jude 1:22 (“some have compassion?” How many are “some” compared with “others save with fear?” The word "some" would certinaly NOT be the majority, and can never be the majority. This means the "others" are the majority we are to "save by fear" Also "we" who RULES by the WORD of GOD are supposed to be “Hating the garment spotted by the flesh?” Do you have any GODLY idea what that is supposed to mean? "Hating the garment spotted by the flesh" or the "fallen carnal human mind?"
GOD SAID . . . .
Mat 5:10 "Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." ( "Blessed" why? For being trully holy, complete in and by the WHOLE WORD! )
Mat 5:12 “Rejoice, and be exceeding glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets which were before you.” (We are to "REJOICE and be exceeding glad for being persecuted!" Wow that more likely tweaks the carnal mind. Huh? We get a "GREAT reward in heaven" when we get "Persecuted")
Luke 6:22 “Blessed are you, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of Man's sake.” (Wow 'when men shall HATE you, and kick you out of "their" company, and "falsely accuse" you for Christ's sake! That is what GOD said, CORRECT!)
Mark 13:13 “And you shall be hated of all men for My name's [nature's} sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved [delivered].” (Wow! "Hated by ALL human thinkers," because of living HIS holy life. "here on earth as it is in heaven," and by proclaiming HIS holiness and purity!)
Luke 21:17 “And you shall be hated of all men for My name's [nature’s] sake.” [“Hated” by who? That said "All men" (444, human beings) Because of living a PURE and HOLY life here and NOW!]
John 15:18 “If the world hate you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.” (WOW that is alot ot people, if the world hate you? Huh? The MIGHITY WORD was not talking the planet earth, but the people of the wouldly!)
John 15: 19 “If you were of the world, the world would love his own, but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.” [WOW, Did GOD say that?]
John 15:20 “Remember the WORD that I said unto you, ‘The servant is not greater than his LORD. If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept My saying, they will keep yours also” [LOOKS like if you are NOT "getting persecuted," by the worldy, than they must love you, because you are still OF THE WORLD! And IF you are NOT "getting persecuted," you are NOT HIS "servant!"]
John 17:14 “I have given them YOUR WORD and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.” [WOW are you "hated by the worldly?" REALLY!]
1John 3:13 "Marvel not, My brethren, if the world hate you!” [He called someone “brethren” WHY? ONLY When the "world hate you!" If the "world" does not "hate you," He does concider you to be HIS "brethren."]
Revelation 2:6 “But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.” (WHAT did HE say to do? You are to "h _ _ e" the “deeds of the Necolaitanes” as HE does? Wow HE said HE "hates!" Does this sound like the Christ you follow?]
Hebrews 1:9 "You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity. . . ?” [Now do you really love holiness and "HATE sin?"]
Palm 97:10 “You that love the LORD, hate evil! HE preserves the souls of His saints." (HE delivered them out of the hand of the wicked. [One who loves the LORD is supposed to "HATE evil!" WOW! Is that you?]
Proverbs 8:13 “The fear of the LORD is to hate evil, pride, and arrogance, and the evil way, and the forward mouth, do I hate." (Fear = complete reverence, awe, original text We are to "HATE EVIL. . ." )
1Jo 2:15- 16 "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world." [Did you study that? He said "Love NOT the world," NOR the "things of the world" That covered almost EVERYTHING that is NOT WHOLLY! The "love of the Father" is NOT in you if "ANY man love the world!" Explain that to me, will you?]
James 4: 4, "...know you not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Who-so-ever is a friend of the world is an enemy of GOD!" [This sure doesn’t sound like “friendship evangelism” HUH? Do you want to be an “ENEMY of GOD?”]
Now is the "world" still your friend?
You better pray it isn't!
Say it again. . . "Friends with the world Is an ENEMY of GOD!"
