There are some historical personages that make us take notice immediately. It could be due to their bravery, strength, or patriotism. The Countess of Buchan stole my heart the first time I read about her because she possessed all three of these attributes. Isabel is a true enigma, and I long to share what I have learned about her with others. I will keep a light of vigilance and sanctuary burning for her always.
