Welcome to the official website of the Connecticut AMVETS Post 911.  We are a veterans organization founded by current and retired Greenwich Police Officers. Our charter ceremony and lowering of the blue star flag was held on Monday, 28 April 2008

Meetings

Meetings will be held at 1800 hours on the last Thursday of the month.  We are still contemplating a permanent meeting place.  If you have any suggestions, please let us know.

On 13 March 2008, members of the GPD Honor Guard and GPD AMVETS  participated in a welcoming home ceremony in Kingston, NY for the 104th Military Police Battalion, Sean O'Donnell's unit.
