Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences is named after
a great mathematician of 12th Century was set up in
October, 1995.
Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences is
co-educational professional institute, affiliated to
University of Delhi
and funded by the state government of
Delhi.
It is located at Dwarka, amidst beautifully
landscaped lush green lawns and with an equally
captivating and enthralling architect and infrastructure
to ensure that young minds get nurtured in the in a
stimulating environment. The college offers specialization
in Computer Science, Instrumentation, Food Technology,
Biomedical Sciences, Electronics and Polymer Science.

The
main objective of the institute is to provide quality
education to its students, we believe that knowledge which
enriches one’s intellect, should have greater application
instead of remaining the exclusive domain of a privileged
few. It should enrich human lives. The basic aim of
education therefore, in our institute is to integrate the
development process of the student into the need of
society. The faculty members constantly strive at
elevating the standards by promoting holistic development
of students by organizing seminars, workshops,
talks by experts, field trips, research projects,
industrial training etc which helps the students in
reinforcing better concepts and facilitates the learning
process. The college provides every opportunity to its
students to explore and identify then latent potential and
help it bloom – in view of the above the students are
given training in the industry at the end of the second
year and third year thus paving way for their future
placements and growth.
The
college is ushering in the tenth year of its existence,
with twelve departments, having well equipped
laboratories, computerized library, seminar room,
audio-visual room, sports room and an IGNOU center.
The college promises to be a guiding light for the
students and strive to become the leading technological,
innovative, competitive, educational institution, meeting
commitment, made to cater to academic, emotional and
social needs of students and country at large.
