WILDCAT SPORTS CLUB

The Wildcat Sports Club is a Christian homeschool organization offering competitive basketball programs for boys in 4th through 12th grade as well as Junior High and Varsity cheerleading for girls. Above all, we strive to serve and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. Our goal is to instill and demonstrate Christ-like character while developing God-given athletic abilities through discipline, training, and emphasis on teaching fundamental skills in basketball and cheerleading. We compete against other homeschool teams and Christian schools as members of the Indiana Christian Basketball Alliance (ICBA) and Heartland Conference.

HOOD SIGNS WITH BETHEL
Former Wildcat forward Adrian Hood signed a letter of intent to play college basketball at Bethel College, an NAIA school in Mishawaka, Indiana. Bethel College made the NAIA Final Four last year and finished with a #2 ranking in the NAIA Top 25 coaches poll. Hood finished his Wildcat career as perhaps the most accomplished Wildcat of all time, scoring 1658 points and dishing out 367 assists in just over two seasons of work. He was named an NCHBC First Team All-American this past year. Click here for more info on the Bethel basketball web site.

WILDCATS CAPTURE 4A TITLE IN A THRILLER
The last game for seven Wildcat seniors will  not be soon forgotten. Down eight late in the fourth quarter of the NCHBC 4A title game against the Nashville Christian Warriors,Travis Burkett's clutch shooting and a few Ashton Hood defensive stops propelled the Cats to an improbable victory. After a furious Cats comeback put the game into overtime, and eight more neck-and-neck minutes of basketball, Travis Burkett nailed the game-winning free throw with 4 seconds remaining in the second overtime to give the Cats (41-4) a 76-75 victory. Burkett had previously tied the game with a three pointer in the final minute of regulation. Burkett was joined by teammates Adrian Hood, Delance Minney, and Dustin Richards on the all-tourney team.
