Chang- 3rd Place at North South Tournament!
Congratulations to Felicia for coming in 3rd place in her division
at the annual North/South tournament! Her dad posted videos of the
matches on www.youtube.com.
We'll add some photos later.

Visit from Doshisha Univeristy Alumni & Team China Coach Tokura Sensei
On April 24 we had the honor of Yuzo Tokura, Renshi 7 Dan,
visiting our club! This was a surprise visit due to business trip he
was on. Tokura Sensei stopped by Sho Tokyo Dojo Friday afternoon,
then took the time to stop by and practice with us! many thanks to
Saeko Tew Sensei for helping to arrange this. Tokura Sensei has
promised to come back again at around the same time next year. As
this gets closer, we will be sure to let you know! Photos will be
added within the next few days.
May 24th-
SCKO 3 Person Team Tournament
We have a 13 and under team (Felicia Chang, Aaron Chang, Howard
Kim), Adult Kyu team (Joon Baik, Daniel Chang, Leland So), and a Yudansha
team (Yasuyuki Fukushima, Justin Park, Johnnie Charng participating.

Beginners are encouraged to join practice
sessions from 7:30 to 8:30 each Wednesday and Friday (show up by 7:15PM to
get ready). Any new members with prior experience or rank can join
in at either 7:30 or 8:30. Need more information? Just show up
