| *Did u know there's like 100 million John McDonald's in the US? There's an artist, a bunch of doctors, a movie director, a judge. It's really pretty insane! *Johnny was reportedly asked to be on the Olympic team in Sydney, but was not allowed to go because the Tribe needed him for the playoffs. *Johnny's view on steroid use: "I've always wanted to do it on my own, to earn what I get, I also don't want to do anything to my body. I want healthy kids, so I'm not going to take that chance" *Johnny was selected to be the player representative for the Indians, after Paul Shuey was traded. *Johnny was booed while playing in New York because of his hard slide into Derek Jeter, which cost the Yankees their short-stop for a couple of games. *John is from the East Lyme area of Connecticut, which I think is near Mystic. I dunno if anyone else has been there, but it's pretty cool. *John's opinion on the crocodile hunter: "I think it's a sham. It's all staged, but he's crazy. (After being told the croc hunter has been bitten.) Oh, really? I guess it isn't staged then. That sucks." *On using pick-up lines: "I always try to stay away from using cheesy pick up lines.
