| Toy Fox Terrier Facts: |
| ~ Toy Fox Terriers are called TFT's for short. ~ The Four "F's" describe them---Fun, Friendly, Fiesty, and Fearless! ~ TFT's are alert, bold and brave for their size. ~ They are comical, courageous, curious, energetic, possess keen intelligence, are playful, sensitive, spirited, stubborn, and love to please. ~ They can be friendly, wary, reserved or even timid with strangers, so must be socialized very young. ~ They can be scrappy with other animals so should be introduced to other household pets (cats included!) at an early age, preferably on neutral territory. ~ Unless trained, they may bark, dig, or chew destructively if left alone too long or too often. ~ TFT's are loyal and fearless, with an endless and abiding love for their master! ~ Even though this is a small dog, TFT's think they are as big or bigger than any dog out there!...a great reason to keep them on a leash to save them from themselves! ~ Because of their small size, this is not the best dog for a family with small children. Little bones can easily be broken. ~ Once you've had one TFT, you'll want another...and another...!! |

We started out with Zeus in May 2000 at 6 weeks old. He promptly took over our lives and our hearts! Chad came along in 2001 as a playmate for Zeus. In the spring of 2002, Tanner started our "run" with Toy Fox Terriers! Now, in August 2002, our precious little girl, Penny, completed our little family! As you can tell, we've decided that TFT's are definitely the breed for us! |
