Sweet dreams!
We have 2 double/twin non-smoking ensuite (with private shower & toilet) rooms, both with TV set. In the morning you can have a continental breakfast plus organic products and Emilian specialities (such as Parmeasan cheese, Parmeasan ham, erbazzone, home-made pies). The house is surrounded by a beautiful Italian garden with trees, in a quiet countryside. Private parking (off-street). Bicycle hire soon!

"Il Ghirone" B&B is in Northern Italy, halfway between Milan and Bologna (1 hour and a half from the 1st, 1 hour from the 2nd by car/train), in the middle of the so-called Food Valley. It's close to Parma (15 Km.) and Reggio Emilia (20 Km.). Even nearer are the river Po and Brescello (less than 10 Km) - known as the location for the movies about "Peppone e Don Camillo", where a museum is dedicated to it - and Museo Cervi in Gattatico (less than 10 Km.).
Here, you can also have long walks or bike along the bank of river Enza, or in quiet streets between villas, courtyards and Romanesque churches.

By car: From A1, exit at Parma or Reggio Emilia, take S.S. 9 "Via Emilia" up to Sant'Ilario d'Enza, then turn to S.P. 38 to Sorbolo up to Gattatico.
From S.S. 62 "della Cisa", in Sorbolo a Levante turn toward Poviglio, then turn right on S.P. 38 to Sant'Ilario d'Enza. Our B&B is on that road after a few Km.

By train: next station Sorbolo (3Km, substitutive bus service) or Sant'Ilario d'Enza (8 Km). Our guests can be taken from/to one of these stations for a little extra.
By bus:
the only bus runs once a day from/to Parma via Gattatico-Sant'Ilario d'Enza. Leaves 7.00 am, arrives 2.05 pm. Not really comfortable if you aren't a student. back(Per room per night)
35 Euros single room, 60 Euros double/twin. If you're staying for more than one night, it's 30 Euros for a single room, 55 Euros for a double/twin! Breakfast included. Sorry, we can only take cash. No credit cards accepted.
