1/ If you can't wait for the next series of Blue Murder to hear Ian's dulcet tones (and heavens knows how long a wait that it is going to be!), then if you click here, you can hear samples of voiceovers he has done for adverts. Click on "individual clips" to hear Ian as the voice of Gillette ("Masculine, Strong!), M and S (""Sexy, smooth and informative") and James Bond ("Moody"), amongst others. Just one thing, he's described as "Confident and warm with attitude, native Yorkshire, 25-35." Thought only women fibbed about their age?!! Must be his "Smash Hits" age!Updated 12th June 2009!

2 /Ian's run in "Chicago" came to an end on May 31st. There's no news if or when he will return to this role. Word is that when Jerry Springer leaves, Terence Maynard will take over the role although this is not confirmed. One of the theatre forums talks of a Swedish pop singer, Måns Zelmerlöf (nope, me neither!) taking over the part in January. Whatever the truth of this, let's hope Ian is back in the role soon.Updated 12th June 2009!

6a/ The box set of the as-yet-unshown Series 5 of Blue Murder has been put back until 29th June 2009, no doubt due to the postponement of the TV series. Thankfully, this time it seems that fans can just buy the series they want. Many fans who bought the first UK box set, which featured Series 1 and 2, were annoyed to find that Series 3 and 4 were not issued as a separate box set but could only be purchased by buying a box set with Series 1-4 on it, meaning they ended up paying for Series 1 and 2 again, to obtain Series 3 and 4! Due to its success, this time there will be 6 episodes, each one hour long.
