| ABOUT US! I.A.I.C. was created in 1998. Indians Adopting Indian Children became a branch of ICHILD because Indian adoption laws were and still are different for NRI's (non resident Indians) than they are for non-NRI's. The NRI community needed a special forum to discuss the unique issues surrounding NRI adoption. Today, IAIC-CHILD is a source not only of information, but community as well.
