On the last day of college, I decided to create the world's largest rasterbation.
I got together a group of about 7 people and together we spent 4 hours sticking it together - and then putting it on backing paper. Below of pictures of it in progress..
Setting up the backing, and measuring it to check it fits
Applying the words 'Alistair is watching you'
Securing the top of the image to make sure it is strong enough
Getting there...
The view from the balcony
The group, and the finished image
We decided we wanted it to be seen by everyone - so the group
consensus was to hang it from the college balcony.
We set up a rope rig behind the backing which would allow it to be hung from the
top, and then be secured down to the floor. Then with help from the
caretaker we got access to the roof area, and left the image there overnight.
Early next morning, we went back up and put the image in place. It took a
long time to get it straight and secure, but in the end it was perfect.
Below are pictures from various places around the college.
