#2 I'm Dennis Douglass, but my mom was a Penhollow, so that makes me at least a half-breed. (Stop grinning, Clyde. So are you!). I was born in 1940, so it is fairly easy to keep track of my age, even numbers and all. This August, 2000 I'll be 60. My wife, Ruth, and I live in Roseburg, Oregon, where I am a school superintendent creeping up on retirement in 2-3 years. (Ruth retired a couple of years ago, but claims she is busier than me. I am married to Dale Grant Edwards who is in a nursing home now. 3 children, Paul Lloyd, (grown) Philip Dale (deceased) and Ellen Gayle (grown). #19 Dale Runge - b. Charlotte, NY 1939. In the summer of 1966, upon finishing the Navy commitment, obtained a job with IBM as a Systems Engineer and stayed there 25 years. Also went to law school and received a J.D. degree. Then worked as a lawyer part time until retirement in early 1990's, then full time. Well traveled; Greece, Russia, most European countries several times, Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Kenya, South Africa, the Caribbean, Brazil, Mexico, Canada and extensive travel within the US.

There are six of us. We five girls each live in a different state. Linda and her husband are both teachers in Twin Falls. They have 2 married sons. - Sherry #6 - Sheila #10 - Cindy and Bobby are in Kennesaw, an Atlanta suburb. Our brother Jess lives with his family in Twenty Nine Palms, CA in the middle of the Mojave Desert. Mother lives here in Virginia about 3 miles from me. We met all of Devere's boys at the Lord's Acre Sale about 1953 or so. I was there again in 1975 when Auntie Flo and I stayed with Denny and Ruthie. That was the last time I saw Devere.
