A guide for the home cultivation of Lawsonia Inermis
In recent times, the ancient Eastern art of Mehndi, or temporary tattooing of the skin with a paste made from Henna (Lawsonia Inermis) has found its way into the mainstream of American Pop culture.  I myself became interested in the art, and ultimately decided to invest in a Henna plant.  I ordered a seemingly healthy Henna plant from an on-line greenhouse, and it arrived in perfect shape.  That is why I became concerned when it began to drop leaves.
I searched everywhere for care information:  On-line, in books, I even called local greenhouses, without avail.  I finally got answers by writing to the greenhouse from which I bought the plant, and was able to take care of it successfully.  But nonetheless, I was dissapointed with the absence of proper care instructions out there, readily available for the average person.       So, I created this site, offering growing instructions, tips, and answers to problems for those of us who can't find them.
