We have seen alot of Lop Color Guides and many have had pictures that are not that good (hard to see the color etc.). So, we made a color guide that has nice quality pictures. If you have good pictures you can send me an email and I will consider using them.  NOTE ~ Updated 1/2008

Animals that have colored points (nose, feet, ears, and tail). They also have pink eyes.

Animals that carry the dominant A gene. Colors include: Chinchilla, Chestnut agouti, Opal etc.

Animals that have white with colored spots/pattern. Including tri colors.

Animals that carry the Steel gene (Es). They have ticking. Colors include: Gold Tipped Black Steel, Silver Fox etc.

Animals that carry the recesive a gene. They are a solid color with no ticking like the Agouti group or Ticked Group. Colors include: black, chocolate, blue etc.

Animals that are the non-extension (e) version of opal, and chestnut agouti. And the agouti (A) version of tort. Colors include: Orange, Cream etc.

Most of the animals carry the Shaded gene (cchl). The animals show shaded markings. Colors include: Seal, Sable Point, Sable, etc.

Colors that are not recognized by the ARBA (American Rabbit Breeders Association). Colors include: Harlequin, Otter, etc. The Silver Marten is in the process of being accepted by the ARBA

Shows  pictures of kits when they are born and several days after they are born. I made this so that people who don't know what color their kit is can try to figure it out.
