The purpose of the Homeschoolers of Collier County, Inc., is to provide support to its members, regardless of race, religious beliefs, home education philosophy or choice of curriculum. This support can be in the form of activities, meetings and information.
Here is a sample of some of our activities:
- park days, beach and pool days
- monthly field trips
- art museum field trips
- clubs such as: art club, knitting club, 5 & Under club, boys club, girls club, teen club, chapter book club & more
- groups such as: 4H, Girl Scouts, Roots & Shoots, Odyssey of the Mind
- events such as the Annual Ice Cream Social, family potlucks, themed potlucks, Science Fair, Geography and Spelling Bees, End of Year Party, 100 Books of reading celebrations, Poetry Day, etc.
- Intro to Homeschooling Talk
- Curriculum Nights
- Monthly Bowling Days
Some other benefits of being a member of HOCC are:
