The BATMAN A-GO-GO was opened in April 1966 by Mike Dubois and David Gilliland.  We thought it would last two or three months, instead it lasted more than three years.  At different times we had GO-GOs in Sikeston, Charleston, Cape Girardeau, Blytheville and Paducah.  There were over 90,000 paid admissions over the three year run.

      We have had two well attended Batman A-GO-GO reunions. I did not think I could come up with anything to top the 20 musicians comprising the 4 bands that performed in 2006 for over 300 people... but I have!

     I have been searching for this band for 3 years. I saw many bands, liked a few but Damn Bullets fits Sikeston and Batman A-GO-GO superbly. Seeing this band was an accident. I went to see my dentist play the drums in his band, "The Sheriffs of Nottingham" of Memphis they sounded good. They were the opening act. Then came Damn Bullets and I was astonished. They've been together for 5 years and are from Little Rock.

     At this time Clyde Crawford, Reese Reeder, Jim Doggett, Lyman Dame and David Entrekin are trying to reorganize The Epic of Sound that performed at the GO-GO in the 1960's to play May 30th. Dana Reynolds has been working from Las Vegas to help organize this 2009 production via computer and phone.
