We are located in the Thumb of Michigan, we call it no mans land, or the Boon Docks.  With our interests turning in differnet directions, We are winding down in the Horses.  We have one Hackney gelding left to show.  And we still have our first Hackney mare that started it all.  She is 20 years old.  She gave birth to what we consider her last foal, this past 2007 spring.   She had a Filly,  she has replaced herself.  This is the first filly she has had, She had given us all colts till now.  This filly does not belong to us, so we won't get to see her grow up.  She will be in the top of Michigan near Traverse City.  Dale is still doing some outside training. When he is not fishing or hunting. We plan to stay involved with the Hackney's for a while yet, but as time goes by, I am sure we will say Goodbye to the horses.  It takes a lot of work to stay active.  Our Morgan Stallion is 22.  He has become a good looking ornament here.  I have been actively working with Pembroke Welsh Corgi Rescue, and enjoying it beyond belief.
