She currently heads an eight year old training and consultancy company, besides heading similar posts and advising in her areas of expertise in training and performance management for other collaborative partners including MARA Education Foundation, Institute of Professional Development under Open University, which engaged Hedi to steer their unit in branding their training efforts in the region, including advising them on the quality of examination for a number of diploma programs, and she is one of the external consultants involved in the Khalifah Model School teachers development, a local private school in Kuala Lumpur.
Hedi is also currently on translation and book writing projects as well as editing and proofreading documents and manuscripts, with clients based in Singapore, Thailand, United Kingdom and also the United States of America.
She is one of the founder members of the Facilitators Network Malaysia, which strives in spreading the knowledge and skills of facilitation through quarterly sharing forum and responsible for organizing annual Asian regional conferences which is affiliated to International Association of Facilitators for the past 10 years.
Hedi's professional work currently covers the area of training consultancy with various overseas organisations, developing cutting-edge interactive language learning programs and setting up of learning centres in various parts of Asia.
When not training and teaching, Hedi swims and is an avid follower of a traditional Malay martial arts, the Silat Gayung. She is also involved in numerous charity work and she frequents the Taman Datuk Harun Orphanage in Petaling Jaya, to pass donations made through her.
