Santa Barbara Chapter of American Harp Society

Santa Barbara Chapter of American Harp Society is non-profit organization, supported and functioned by all volunteer members, including board members. It has been established as a part of national organization in 1963. Members of the Chapter are professional pedal harpists, non-pedal harpists, students and just harp admirers and friends. In 2000 our Chapter has received the Chapter of the Year Award. In 2001 Chapter was anounced Chapter of the Year Honorable Mention.  Recently, the Chapter started the Annual Harp Festival, an event that brought together various performers, teachers, vendors and harp technicians. This event proved successful and the Chapter has already planned the next festival for April 6-7, 2002. This year we expect the number of well known harpists recognized throughout the world.
