AHP 2009 Election: Executive Committe & Board of Directors

AHP appreciates your membership subscription, hard work and efforts throughout the year. Therefore, we invite you to share that dedication and talent in a more prominent position. Become one of our leaders on the Executive Committee or Board of Directors!

General election will be held on July 23, 2009 during the General Body (GB) Meeting.

Location: John Hopkins University Benjamin T. Rome Bldg
1619 Massachusetts Ave NW, Room 812, Washington DC 20036

Election is being held in accordance with AHP Bylaws and Election Rules to fill the following Executive Committee vacancies:
* President     * Vice-President    * Treasurer    * Assistant Treasurer   * Secretary
     
* Public Relations Officer  * Professional Development Officer      
* Community Service Officer   * Fundraising Officer
The AHP Board of Directors also has up to 5 vacancies to be filled during the election.

All eligible voters will be given a ballot and can cast their vote for the candidates listed on the ballot at the GB meeting. Eligible candidates wishing to run for a vacant position must submit a
candidate profile. Nominations will not be required.

Profiles from those wishing to run for the vacant positions must be submitted by July 20. Profiles may also be made in person on the day of the election. All inquiries, questions, and candidate submissions can be directed to the AHP Election Committe at
elections@haitianprofessionals.org. Good luck to all our candidates!
Membership Rates Special - Extended for Additional 50 Days

AHP dues-paying members are the BACKBONE of the ORGANIZATION.  By popular demand, the following membership discounts are extended for the first 50 days of 2009:
    * Student membership dues: $ 25
    * Individual membership dues: $50
    * Family membership dues: $75
