Hiking

Purisima

March 2001 -- On our very first hike in the Bay Area, one of us was fascinated by our first encounter with a banana slug. The colours of wild flowers and rain coat stood out in the darkness of the rainy afternoon. On the path, morning dew was fresh on some pretty local plant (name unknown).

Moss Beach and Brooks Falls

March 2001 -- The tidal pools at Moss beach holds many treasures from the sea -- colourful anemonies, sea stars, crabs, and mussels, etc. On the cliff above the beach, we had a breath taking view of the pacific, the sunshine dancing on the waters, wild flowers and wind-blown trees. We were so inspired that we went on another hike to Brooks Falls, down the road in Pacifica. The falls itself was but a trickle but the hike in the Euclyptus forest was quite enchanting.
