BEGINS ON APRIL 13 . THE CELEBRATION LASTS FOR FOUR DAYS IN CHIANG MAI . HOW DO PEOPLE CELEBRATE THE NEW YEAR HERE, APART FORM OFFERING FOOD TO MONKS ,WE GIVE A CEREMONIAL BATHING TO CERTAIN BUDDHA STATUES. TRADITIONALLY ,IT IS THE TIME OF THE YEAR TO PAY RESPECT TO OUR ELDERS BY SPRINKLING SCENTED WATER ON THEIR HANDS. IN ADDITION TO OUR TRADITIONAL WAY OF CELEBRATING THIS OCCASION, WE ALSO POUR WATER ON FRIENDS AND EVEN STRANGERS CHIANG MAI FESTIVAL AND EVENT DETAIL OF MAY FESTIVAL MAY FESTIVAL.
