Gregg's bicep blowout
BLOWOUT!
Gregg recently blew out one of his biceps. Various online gossip says he had developed an abcess and it was surgically opened up and cleaned out. I haven't been able to find an original news source.

No, he's NOT dead!
No, he's NOT dead!
MuscleMag International reports that many people were confused by a Swedish article (see below) that used Greg's picture with a story about the death of another bodybuilder.

Greg Valentino seen in Aftonbladet Greg's arms featured in Swdedish tabloid!
Aftonbladet used a picture of Big Greg to illustrate an article about a 20-year-old Swedish bodybuilder who died from injecting household oils into his arms to pump them up.

This set of pictures was lifted from
MUSCLEMAG International #230, August 2001

According to the article, Greg is 5'5", 215 pounds, and those arms measure 28 inches.

This picture was lifted from the Strong and Shapely web site at http://www.strong-and-shapely.com.

The picture file is dated 21-June-2000 but it's not known when it was taken. The original caption says Greg is
5'4", 210 pounds, 23.5" arms.

According to Strong and Shapely, Greg is owner of
Powerhouse Gym, Yorktown Heights, NY.

SYNTHOL? WHO CARES!

Synthol is a plumping oil that many bodybuilders inject into their muscles for extra size. Pretty much every bodybuilding magazine, web site, and discussion board accuses Greg of inflating his arms with Synthol.

Greg's a smart man and he's never commented on Synthol one way or the other. And he shouldn't. No good ever comes from discussing private issues in public.

Everyone has the right to shape his body however he wants. This topic has been covered to death on "body modification" forums. Greg obviously wants huge arms, so he gave himself huge arms.

Who cares how?

HOW BIG CAN HE GET?

Comparing the 23.5" and 28" pictures, I'd estimate Greg could pack another 6" to 8" on his arms. No joke. I'm basing this estimate on how much room there is for additional mass, and a rough calculation of volume. Going from 28" to 34" would be about the same percent volume increase as going from 23.5" to 28". And after that, 36" is only a very small percent increase in volume.

Yeah. 36" arms. GROW MAN GROW!

BULGING BICEPS

Got a broadband connection? You'll probably like this animation of Greg's arms growing and GROWING. It's kinda hypnotic (391K file size).
