National Trails Day Saturday, June 6, 8:30 am - 1:30 pm Join REI and the Fairfax County Park Authority for a fun, family- oriented project in Riverbend Park. We'll be renovating a section of the Potomac Heritage trail with beautiful views of the Potomac River. We'll also remove a large area of invasive plants in the flood plain, prepare the ground, and then re-plant native grasses. Tools, interesting tasks and fun for everyone will be provided. Each volunteer will receive a cool REI Volunteer T-shirt. Registration is necessary to ensure we have tools and shirts for everyone.
