Maggie is a Golden Retriever mix. What she is mixed with no one really knows. It has been suggested she is part terrier or part flying squirrel, or both. She was adopted from the Animal Rescue League of Western Pennsylvania in Pittsburgh, PA. Dropped off as a stray at approximately 6 months old she was adopted shortly thereafter.

She underwent obedience training at Mr. O's K-9 Training school in Lower Burrell, PA. There she learned some basic commands and went through additional training to learn how to wear costumes. Chasing tennis balls just came naturally to her with no training required. She's learned a couple additional tricks at home, like waving and rolling over.

Maggie says "it's just a 'burgh thing" to get dressed up to watch the Steelers!

Maggie got all dressed up as a cowgirl and a police officer when she went to Westmoreland County Fairgrounds to promote Mr. O's K-9 training and the Animal Rescue League of Western PA.

One of Maggie's favorite holidays is Christmas. Here she hangs with Frosty waiting for Santa.

When she's not ripping apart a new toy Maggie likes to go flying for tennis balls. Which she eventually rips in half!
