The Unnamed-at-the-Time Bar
Later to Become Paddy Reilly's
1985
Blast from the distant past:
The Dublin City Rebels was a band that included the roommate of a guy
I worked for in Ireland. When he came to visit, we hung out at this bar
where the band played. The bar had no name; the bartender (see last picture)
was soliciting suggestions at the time. Later on it became Paddy Reilly's,
where Black 47 was the house band (now it's the Prodigals). So I can say
that I sang with the band (second photo) on the stage at Paddy Reilly's.
Even though I was terrible, and it's now a different stage in a different
part of the bar. We had a good time.
Clicking on a thumbnail will bring up the big version.
